As part of the process control in the ZDHC strategic chemical management implementation, SGS provides training services according to the courses outlines by ZDHC Academy

SGS has joined ZDHC as a contributor and has been an Approved Training Provider (ATP) right after the launch of ZDHC Academy, the training platform under ZDHC program.

All of our trainers across our global network are experienced to provide their technical advice during the training. They are equipped with many hours of training experiences on chemical management, capable of delivering key concepts and communicate efficiently with local language.

SGS has also maintained internal communications between different parties supporting various ZDHC services, such as wastewater and MRSL formulation testing. While the information is shared among the parties, our training provided is also ensured with up-to-date details from the other ZDHC services.

Since 1971, our analysis laboratory has been advising private individuals and companies on the potability of water for human consumption (both from a chemical and microbiological point of view in accordance with Legislative Decree 18 February 23th 2023), verification of conformity of wastewater with company discharge authorisations (Italian Law 152/2006 and European Commision Decision 2022/2508/EU [BATC], self-controls of atmospheric emissions from heating systems, furnaces, extraction systems, etc (Italian Law 152/2006). The analytical laboratory works in close cooperation with the other sectors of CRAB, in particular with the environmental consulting sector (http://www.crab.it/servizi/serviziambiente) with regard to issues concerning air, water and soil pollution and possible remediation activities; with the consulting sector for issues concerning safety and hygiene in the workplace (http://www.crab.it/servizi/servizisicurezza ) and with the doctors of the health surveillance service (http://www.crab.it/servizi/servizisorveglianzasanitaria ) with regard to monitoring of pollutants in the workplace and living environments. The Analitical Laboratory of CRAB also perform material and process characterisation activities in collaboration with major Italian universities (University of Bologna, University of Eastern Piedmont, Turin Polytechnic, Milan Polytechnic, etc.) national and international research and analysis centres (Intertek™, CTO of Turin, UOLM of Desio, Milan Chamber of Commerce, etc.).
